Man arrested in stab death of LI woman found on front lawn

An upstate man has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of a Long Island woman who was found mortally wounded on her front lawn, cops said Monday.

Kason Parker, 33, of Albany was busted Sunday and charged with second-degree murder in the death of Meghan Kiefer, 27, according to Suffolk County cops.

A 911 caller reported finding Kiefer in front of her home at 19 Harford Drive in Coram around 4:45 p.m. Saturday. Kiefer was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital but couldn’t be saved.

A Suffolk County police spokeswoman refused to comment on the motive in the stabbing.
