A series of loud pops — possibly gunshots — in George Floyd Square in Minneapolis sent demonstrators and journalists scrambling for cover Tuesday — the one-year anniversary of the his murder in police custody.

recorded nearly 30 loud bangs at around 11 a.m. at the intersection where Floyd died, 38th St. and Chicago Ave.
“It sounds like gunshots, I don’t even know what this is,” reporter Philip Crowther says in the clip.
added in another tweet, “From our vantage point we see one broken window, apparently from one of the shots fired.”
No injuries were reported and police have not confirmed if the incident was a shooting or fireworks.
