Private Sector Eid Holiday Announced
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced that paid holiday for the private sector for Eid-Al-Fitr will begin from 29 of Ramadan and run until 3 of Shawwal.
As 29 of Ramadan coincides with 11 May and 3 of Shawwal on 15 May, the private sector holidays will run for 5 days from Tuesday to Saturday, alongside the holiday for the public sector announced earlier by the Federal Authority For Government Human Resources.
No date is confirmed when Eid-Al-Fitr will be, and an official decision is expected to be announced on 11 May, by the moon sighting committee based on the sighting of the moon.
