Spring sometimes come early… at least in terms of celebrity fashion. Everyone from Jennifer Lopez to Taylor Swift have worn stylish pastel dresses in the winter and we’re taking a look at some of our favorites right here.
Spring is in the air – and our clothes! While the fresh season doesn’t begin until late March, plenty of stars have decided that winter was cancelled by cracking into their warmer weather wardrobe a bit earlier over the years. Everyone from Jennifer Lopez to Taylor Swift have ditched their darker duds in favor of pretty pastel dresses that had us wishing for April when it wasn’t yet here.
Jennifer showed up to the 2017 Grammy Awards in Feb. in a gorgeous light purple sleeveless dress that had a plunging neckline and a high slit, which can be seen below. She paired the look with sparkly heels that had straps around the ankles and held a sequined clutch as she epically posed on the red carpet. Her long straight locks were also down while looking sleek.
Taylor followed suit when she wore a pastel blue Azzaro dress, which can be seen below, to the 40th anniversary special of Saturday Night Live on Feb. 15, 2015. The sleeveless choice went down to right above her knees and included a silver sequined waist line. She wore strappy stilettos with the dress and had her shorter bob wavy with side swept bangs.
Jennifer and Taylor aren’t the only two stars to rock pastel dresses in the winter. Gigi Hadid has also turned heads in a spring-inspired outfit. The model stepped out during Paris Fashion Week on March 3, 2019 in a gorgeous pink and cream frock by Prada. The feminine piece also incorporated an embellished floral design for an added spring-inspired element and she paired the look with sheer knee-high socks, black leather Prada shoes, and a small pink handbag.
Whenever we’re yearning for spring, these looks are more than enough to get us excited for the warmer weather that’s headed our way. Head up to the gallery above to see how other stars styled pastel dresses in the winter!
